An exploration of the delicate interface of flowers with water or ice. Beyond the need to quench thirst. This long term project focuses on capturing the poetic, individual beauty of flowers and the harshness of nature while emphasizing the magnificent rich, jewel-like color, dynamic energy and ethereal essence of the floral kingdom. I photograph staged floral compositions while freezing the dynamics of a special moment in order to stir the emotions of the viewer. Plunged into a pool of water, I capture the intrepid moment of impact, where an elegant flower expresses its stalwart agility under water.
